Just Video Walls Introduces Absolute Black™ – New MicroLED Benchmark

New flagship MicroLED technology combines OLED-quality blacks, the smooth motion of premium projection, and the architectural scale only MicroLED can deliver.

Just Video Walls Introduces Absolute Black™ – New MicroLED Benchmark

Ft. Lauderdale, Florida — August 2026 — Just Video Walls today introduced Absolute Black™, a new flagship MicroLED platform engineered to deliver OLED-quality picture performance while preserving the scale, brightness, and architectural freedom that have made MicroLED the display technology of choice for luxury residential and commercial spaces.

Built around a proprietary ultra-dark phosphor surface, Absolute Black LEDs occupy approximately one-tenth the visible surface area of conventional MicroLED designs, carry more than 50% improved panel uniformity, ultra-high frequency LED driving architecture, and approximately 99% DCI-P3 color reproduction, all which represents the company’s most significant advancement in image quality to date.

A Different Approach for MicroLED Video Walls

In a modular MicroLED platform, 8K isn’t a technological ceiling. It’s simply a configuration. Absolute Black can scale beyond 8K as display size and pixel count increases.

But Absolute Black wasn’t built to simply chase higher brightness or resolution. Just Video Walls had a different goal: create the most natural viewing experience ever achieved with MicroLED.

That philosophy shaped every aspect of the platform—from dramatically deeper perceived blacks and seamless panel uniformity to smoother cinematic motion and remarkably accurate color reproduction.

The result is a MicroLED platform that combines the visual strengths of today’s favorite display technologies: the color and contrast of OLED, the natural motion of premium projection, and the architectural flexibility that only MicroLED can deliver.

Truly Deep Blacks

The foundation of Absolute Black begins with a proprietary ultra-dark phosphor surface that is visibly darker before the display is even powered on.

Combined with LEDs occupying approximately one-tenth the visible surface area of conventional MicroLED designs, Absolute Black creates dramatically more true black space between pixels. The result is deeper perceived blacks, greater image depth, and a display surface that visually disappears as content takes over.

Just Video Walls offers both Matte and Gloss finishes in the signature line, enabling options for dedicated theaters and bright living room environments.

Greater Uniformity

Beyond the black levels, Absolute Black addresses one of the most difficult engineering challenges in large-format MicroLED: panel uniformity.

The platform reduces base color and brightness variation by more than 50 percent, minimizing tonal shifts and visible module transitions across even the largest video walls. Rather than seeing individual cabinets, viewers experience a single, seamless image.

“The best display technology is the one you stop thinking about,” said Skyler Meek, CMO at Just Video Walls. “Uniformity isn’t a flashy headline spec like brightness, but it’s what allows the image to completely disappear into the architecture.”

“We believe we already have the best panel uniformity in the industry, so improving it by this much wasn’t just an engineering milestone. It’s one of the biggest reasons Absolute Black feels so natural to watch.”

Ultra-High Frequency Motion Architecture

Conventional MicroLED systems can exhibit reduced motion fidelity during low-grayscale content, where subtle shadow detail and smooth motion place greater demands on the display’s LED driving architecture. The result may include visible scan artifacts, reduced motion cohesion, or camera banding under certain viewing and capture conditions.

Absolute Black features an ultra-high frequency LED driving architecture engineered to maintain exceptional motion fidelity across the full grayscale range—from bright HDR highlights to the darkest cinematic scenes. The result is smoother, more cohesive motion, cleaner camera reproduction, and a viewing experience that remains remarkably natural and faithful to the creator’s original intent.

Color Without Compromise

Absolute Black completes the experience with approximately 99% DCI-P3 color reproduction and full 12-bit source color processing, delivering exceptionally accurate color, smooth gradients, and lifelike imagery across virtually any viewing environment.
