TRIPhase Indianapolis: 151″ MicroLED in One of America’s Largest CI Showrooms

TRIPhase Technologies’ Indianapolis-area campus is the kind of place other dealers fly in to see. Open basement media rooms are why MicroLED wins

Indiana plans love basements with a bar landing open to the rest of the level—terrible for projection, perfect for a bright ultrawide. Rocky demos six equal 16:9 panes or a ~141″ scope movie versus the same title cropped on a 100″ TV (~80″ of real image). Nine-channel Sonance Reference Atmos with in-wall subs wraps the wall. A second 1.2 mm wall in the same room teaches pitch versus viewing distance without a spreadsheet.

McIntosh meters, Ketra lab, nerdery racks

Control4 / Savant / Nice touch walls let clients choose UIs. Traditional 182″ Sony laser theater with Fortress seats remains the surround classroom. McIntosh stacks drive theater and the MicroLED Atmos bay; Leon sound tile hides above glowing meters; outdoor Terrace and buried Sonance/Klipsch subs answer “movie theater outside” in a state that stays light until 10 p.m. The lighting lab—Lucifer, beam-spread education, mock dining layers—still pulls architects statewide. Engineering “nerdery” pre-racks systems before truck day. Facility is 3× their old building; the wall was an expensive add on purpose, because clients can’t appreciate it from a PDF.
