Premier Group Carmel: Whole-House Showroom with Two MicroLED Systems

Carmel, Indiana. Fourth showroom in 26 years for Premier Innovation / Premier Group, built out over about thirteen months into an actual house: kitchen, hearth room, dining/conference, lower-level cinema wall, golf sim, and two-channel rooms that still surprise me. Jason Barr kicked things off on a 151″ Just Video Walls display; up front, a 60″×60″ digital-art canvas (Black Dove) sits next to real art and a Leon mantle that is secretly the soundbar.

Technology that protects the design

Thirteen lighting zones in the kitchen alone. James small-aperture ceiling speakers with aircraft-aluminum enclosures and a 48″ sub sharing the plenum. Lutron Palladium + Josh.ai Nano in the hearth room with Ketra party scenes and a whole-house “good night.” Motorized sheers versus blackout rails, peaked-window solutions, and builder/architect meetings that use the dining MicroLED as a presentation wall. Downstairs, Chris from the Ovation lineage (heading toward 50 years) runs two-channel that puts people on the “crying couch” with Jubilees.

24×9 cinema wall, Full Swing golf, German theater seats

The big lower wall is ~2.7:1 cinema scope—Jason walks 55″→98″ consumer panels on-screen so clients feel how small a “huge” Costco TV becomes with black bars. Marble (or wood, or bookshelf) camouflage, six-game sports layouts, Control4 OS, Bowers & Wilkins CT LCR in the horizontal cabinet. Next door: Full Swing golf with dual overhead cameras and 360° tracking—the same class of system tour pros buy—plus a German-crafted theater bay.
